Do I need a doctor's referral to make an appointment?

Not normally. Only patients entitled to services paid by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs or Medicare require referrals from their GPs. Anyone wishing to claim treatment through Work Cover must contact their Case Manager for permission to proceed with podiatry services. We require written authority from the Case Manager ensuring us that Work Cover will pay for the Initial Consultation and report if required
